Yes. QuickBooks Online and Desktop both import invoices, but only from a CSV or Excel file in their own column format. They do not read PDFs directly, so you convert your PDF or image invoices into that spreadsheet layout first, then import it. This tool produces that file for you.
In QuickBooks Online, click the gear icon, choose Import data, then select Invoices. Upload a CSV or Excel file, map your columns to the QuickBooks fields, and start the import. The invoices are created once the mapping passes validation.
QuickBooks Online imports a maximum of 100 invoices at a time, and each spreadsheet can hold up to 1,000 rows. Because multi-line invoices use several rows each, a single file may carry fewer than 100 invoices, so split larger backlogs into multiple files.
